The Trustees of the Rakiura Māori Lands Trust (RMLT) invite the beneficial owners to the 2024 RMLT Annual General Meeting.
Date of AGM: Sunday 24 March, 2024
Time: Registration from 10am, Meeting commences at 11am, Meeting finishes at 2pm.
Venue: Community Centre Hall, Rakiura
Brunch and Lunch provided
The AGM will be held in accordance with the Trust Deed and Standing Orders. The Trustees will present a report on those activities of the Trust and financial performance for the past year.
Please be advised that there is a shortage of accommodation on the Island and bookings must be made well in advance.
Real NZ (Ferry) have allocated (55 seats) on the Friday night ferry 5:15pm, and (96 seats) on the Saturday morning ferry 09:45am from Bluff to Halfmoon Bay. To book please email info@ajsevents.co.nz as Aaron is organising all bookings for transport, activities, and food.
This also applies when leaving the island on Sunday 24th March with the normal scheduled ferry leaving Halfmoon Bay to Bluff at 3:30pm (22 seats) and a charter ferry leaving at 3:45pm (95 seats).
There is also (30 seats) available on the 8:00am ferry on Monday 25th March. As stated, all bookings to go through Aaron.
Outside of these times please arrange your own travel to and from the island.

Activities
Guests to depart for afternoon activities.
Buses for the Village and Bays tour leaves from the Red Shed on Elgin Terrace (towards the main wharf).
Boat tours leaves from the main Halfmoon Bay wharf.
Preference 1 – 1:30pm – Village and Bays Bus tour around the island, leaves from Red Shed
Preference 2 – 1:30pm – Cruise up Inlet (does not include Ulva Island) approx. 3-4hrs, leaves from main wharf
Preference 3 – 1:30pm – Boat to Oneki (weather & boat availability permitting), leaves from Golden Bay
Preference 4 – 3:30pm – Village and Bays Bus tour around the island, leaves from Red Shed
5:30pm – Drinks in the Community Centre Hall
6:00pm – Dinner in the Community Centre Hall
8:00pm – The Famous Stewart Island Quiz – All Welcome!
Sunday 24th March 2024
09:00am – Brunch at the Community Centre Hall
10:00am – Registration for the AGM
11:00am – AGM begins
12:30pm – Lunch will be served
2:00pm – Official end to the weekend
3:30pm – Normal schedule ferry leaves main wharf (22 seats)
3:45pm – Charter ferry to Bluff (96 seats)
