HUNTING PERMITS ARE ISSUED ON THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

  • Charter Operators used are one of the RMLT approved Operators.
  • Charters can be booked from Bluff or Halfmoon Bay (Oban).
  • Blocks are booked on a weekly basis.
  • Blocks are available from mid-day on the rotation day, until mid-day on your last day.
  • Full Terms and Conditions are detailed below.

BOOKINGS

Bookings will be taken on blocks where the return date from the block is no greater than 24 months from the date the booking is required to be confirmed, providing the hunting blocks have been opened for booking at the time.

A deposit will be required to secure your booking. You will then be required to pay for your booking in full no less than 90 days before your departure from Bluff or Halfmoon Bay.

You may make one adjustment to the numbers you have booked on your trip up to 90 days before the departure date from Bluff or Halfmoon Bay to the block you have booked to use, thereafter the booking is fixed. If you make more than one adjustment to you booking you will be charged an adjustment fee of $50.00 per additional adjustment. All Hunters named in the Hunter Details form you submitted will be required to provide appropriate photo ID to the Charter Boat operator before you can be transported to your block.

Changes to travel dates and block selection will require a cancellation of the existing booking and a cancellation fee will apply.

PACKAGES

Hunting blocks are offered as a single fee for the block booked, and relative to the time spent on the block. We will give you all the information you require regarding how to get there and what you need to provide. We will supply a list our approved charter operators who will charge you directly for their services and are NOT included in the block fees.

BAD WEATHER

Bad weather is beyond our control and where a booking is disrupted by bad weather that prevents any or all of your booking from proceeding this will not result in refund or exchange of your booking. Every effort will be made to ensure your booking can proceed as booked provided this can be done in a safe manner to you and all those involved in transporting you.

CANCELLATIONS

You will be able to cancel your booking under the following conditions for any reason,

If you cancel up to 90 full days before the departure date from Bluff to the block you have booked to use, you will receive a refund equal to the total cost of your block fee less a $250.00 cancellation fee.

If you cancel between 89 full days up to 45 full days before the start date of the cycle of the block you have booked to use, you will receive a refund equal to 50% of the total cost of your block fee unless you can find a replacement party to take as new booking, (with no cancellation option for the new booking), then you will receive a refund equal to the total cost of your block booking of the $250.00 cancellation fee.

We will not accept a cancellation after 44 full days before the start date of the cycle of the block you have booked unless you can find a replacement party of the same or greater size to take a new booking, (with no cancellation option for the new booking), then you will receive a refund equal to the total cost of your block booking less a $250.00 cancellation.

The reason you have for cancelling your booking does not affect the implementation of this cancellation policy in any way.

UPDATE TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We retain the right to update our terms and conditions associated with our hunting blocks at any time without notice. The terms and conditions that exist at the time of your departure from Bluff or Half Moon Bay to the block you have booked will apply to your booking.

UPDATE TO PRICING

Trustee’s reserve the right to change pricing as needed. Price increases will be applied to future bookings from a specific date and will not affect bookings prior to that date.
